History of Mackantra Engineering Projects

Mackantra Engineering Projects was established in 2009. Our aim was to become one of the best in the business. As such we strive to be the market leader in the Fire Protection Industry.

Initially, our core business was aimed at the protection of Special Risks. This includes in the Industrial, Mining, Power Generation, and Petro-Chemical sectors.

We have had the opportunity to expand our services into other sectors such as the commercial space.

Moreover, we have grown in stature in our former sectors.

Our Team

The Mackantra Engineering Projects management team has extensive contracting and fire industry experience. Likewise, we hold senior managerial positions and directorships at construction and engineering companies.

Managerial positions include Hamon SA, Group Five, and United Technologies Corporation, to name a few.

Through this, we provide a wealth of design and implementation expertise in our field.

Our team has in excess of 75 years of experience. This has enabled the Mackantra Engineering Projects team to undertake EPCM turn key projects. As such we can conform to design work in accordance with both local and internationally accepted standards and codes including ASIB, SABS, NFPA, FM, and LPC.
